A highly distinctive and aesthetic combination specimen from Stak Nala, Pakistan, featuring sharply contrasting Elbaite Tourmaline and colorless Goshenite crystals accented by Muscovite and Quartz.
One of the most compelling features of this specimen is the association of Goshenite and Tourmaline together on the same matrix. The pale, glassy Goshenite crystals create a striking contrast against the dark green to nearly black Elbaite crystals, producing excellent visual depth and balance. Multiple crystals rise prominently from the matrix, giving the specimen a dramatic, architectural appearance from several viewing angles.
The addition of Muscovite and Quartz further enhances the complexity of the piece, making this an especially interesting example of the diverse mineral associations for which the Stak Nala pegmatites are renowned.
