Highly aesthetic Malachite from the Shilu Mine, Yangjiang, China, featuring a rich green color and distinctive velvety surface texture. The specimen is composed of numerous rounded, botryoidal formations that create an exceptionally attractive three-dimensional surface.
Particularly appealing is the specimen’s soft, velvet-like appearance, produced by extremely fine Malachite crystallization covering the rounded forms. Variations from deep forest green to brighter emerald-green areas accentuate the contours and give the piece excellent depth and visual interest.
Viewed from different angles, the specimen reveals an intricate landscape of overlapping botryoidal growths, making it an excellent display example of the distinctive Malachite specimens produced from the Shilu Mine.
